The Valley of Eshcol was the valley where the Hebrew spies found a cluster of grapes so large that it took two men to carry it (Numbers 13: 23, 24). Eshcol means cluster. The valley is near Hebron and still has rich vineyards. In the center of this image is a stone house, probably that of the vineyard owner. To the right of the house is a watchtower. Surrounding both are vineyards.
