Licensing agreement, terms and
conditions
When you become a member, or download any image from our site, you
automatically agree to this Licensing Agreement, also called Terms and
Conditions.
- FaithImages grants to you a
nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use, reproduce, modify,
publish, display, and distribute these images in:
- Products or services that do
not generate income for you or the organization you represent, or any
other person or organization you represent. If you wish to use these
images for products or services that you sell, you should go to the
Visual Bible Alive Publishers site, associated with this site, and
negotiate an appropriate publishing fee.
- Products or services that
you will not copyright. Since these are copyrighted images, they may
not be used in any way in any product or service for which you obtain a
copyright, without paying an appropriate publishing fee
- In any public distribution,
other than projection, you must have a copyright line as follows: © V.
Gilbert & Arlisle F. Beers, or another designated copyright owner.
Copyright line may be in small, unobtrusive type.
- You agree not to distribute
these images to any third party for that person or organization to use
in any way. You and one organization you represent, such as a church,
are considered one member.
- You agree not to package
these images into products or services for distribution where these
images represent more than 10% of that product or service.
- You agree not to share these
images across a network so that a third party can access them.
- You agree not to use
automated or programmatic means or methods to download these images.
- Membership entitles you to
download and use images without charge, subject to these terms and
conditions.
- You may continue to use the
images you download as long as you remain a member. When you cease to be
a member your right to use previously downloaded images ceases.
- You agree that you will under
no circumstance use these images with any pornographic, obscene,
immoral, or illegal materials or purposes. You may not use them to
ridicule or depreciate another person or organization.

Here are some commonly asked questions concerning our Terms and Conditions

- What do we mean “generate
income for you?”
If you sell, or charge a fee for, the product or service in which you
use our images, you are generating income. We convey certain rights to
you, but you may not further sell the use of our images in any way. - What if I am using these
images for our “not-for-profit” organization?
There is no distinction in “for profit” or “not-for-profit”
organizations concerning the use of these images. All people and
organizations abide by the same terms & conditions. - May I use these images for a
web site?
Do you charge for the use of your web site? If you do, you must
negotiate a new rate (see below). If you don't charge for it, you may
use the images without cost, depending on the following condition: your
web site or network may not permit others to use our images without
contacting us directly and becoming a member.
That is not acceptable, for that would put you in the position of
“selling” or even giving away copyrighted images. - What about a “house organ”
newspaper or magazine put out by our organization?
Do you charge for a subscription? If you do, you must negotiate a new
rate. If you don't charge, you may use the images for free. - May I use these images in
advertising, even advertising a product that is for sale?
Are you charging a fee for the advertising itself? If so, you must
negotiate a new rate. If you do not charge a fee for the advertising,
even though you are advertising a product for sale, you need to pay
nothing. - Where may I negotiate a quantity
rate to use these images in a product or service that I sell?

Terms and Conditions for
Publishers:
Any use of our images that generates income for you in any way requires a
publisher’s licensing agreement. Licensing fee is for worldwide, one-time use
only, for a single copyrighted title, regardless of size or quantity, and for
the promotion materials that directly promote that publication. Rights are
nonexclusive and nontransferable. We reserve the right to deny use in
publications that promote pornography, or that ridicule or depreciate other
persons or organizations. Copyright credit required.
