One day Jesus visited Mary and Martha, His good friends at Bethany. Martha kept busy, making the best meal in town, while Mary sat with Jesus, listening to Him tell about God and heaven. Martha angrily asked Jesus to make Mary get to work, but Jesus said it was more important to listen than work (Luke 10:38-42).
